Article Alert: Ned Kelly's Remains Still in Limbo

In the Herald Sun of April 6, 2012 there is an article called Kelly's Remains Still in Limbo.

Excerpt from the article:

...The bushranger's remains were formally identified last year, and the State Government decided to give them to his family.
RMIT adjunct professor Peter Norden, a former Pentridge chaplain, said the developer was holding up the process.
Prof Norden urged the Baillieu Government to ensure the remains were given to Kelly's family.
The Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine identified the remains last year using the DNA of a family member.
Attorney-General Robert Clark subsequently decided that the remains would be given to Kelly's family.
A source familiar with the issue said the developer wanted to keep the remains, possibly as a feature for the development.
The issue has become complicated because the exhumation certificate indicated that the remains would be returned to Pentridge. The source said the developer has indicated he was considering legal action.....

  1. Ned should definitely be given to his family,no question.This developer is a disgrace.Why won't they just finally leave him alone & let him rest in peace.Ned's family must be allowed to look after him,no one else.
